Responsibilities

Draft, review, and analyze complex administrative records for use in the development of targeted financial measures. Work to resolve discrepancies, explain reuirements, or determine recommendations. Conduct investigations, examinations, and/or audits of financial institutions. Leverage knowledge of BSA and AML regulations and associated compliance programs implemented by regulated institutions. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience reviewing intelligence and law enforcement data 
  • Solid understanding of financial intelligence databases, methodologies, and case development
  • Excellent proven writing and research skills
  • Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) data or similar data sets and how it is reported
  • Ability to write concisely and clearly with minimal editing
  • Strong research skills and knowledge in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with on-line research systems including the Internet
  • BA or BS Degree
  • Active TS/SCI clearance 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), or other relevant professional certificaiton
  • Experience performing AML and financial crime investigations
  • General banking compliance knowledge
  • Experience working in a professional services or project-based enviornment with high litigation risk
  • Knowledge of the USA Patriot Act, specifically sections 311 and 314 (A) as well as Geographic Targeting Orders (GTOs)
