Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and control all aspects of the project activity; including scope management, schedule development, budgeting, cost management, resource management, quality planning, communications and subcontractor management.
  • Assist in Leading projects involving the development and maintenance of highly complex software applications.
  • Communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
  • Ensure the development, maintenance, and implementation of work order management plans.
  • Prepare and present project status and financial reports defining contract performance to corporate management and Federal clients.
  • Formulate and enforce work standards.
  • Develop detailed business requirements to be used within a formal statement of work.
  • Identify hiring needs, initiate and participate in the hiring, coaching, and if necessary termination processes, and perform periodic reviews
  • Communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
  • Serve as a technical resource and act as a coach and mentor with regard to performance.
  • Maintain a high degree of employee morale.
  • Work in technical environment

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of successful project management experience which includes 3-5 years of managing federal government projects or comparable experience.
  • Clearance Requirement: Secret Clearance
  • Required Certification: Security+ Certification CE
  • Demonstrated experience with project management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of government acquisition and contract process, terms and concepts.
  • Strong personal, technical and oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a team player with ability to work collaboratively with a variety of departments.
  • Must be a self-starter with a results-oriented and proactive work approach
