Responsibilities

The Signature Reduction (SR) Lead provides learning and performance solutions in all disciplines of SR to include, but not limited to, course development/design, instructional delivery, mentorship, advisory and review requirements, and overall knowledge of SR. Practical experience levels in SR support, application, and/or use must be significant in breadth and depth to bridge the curriculum instruction with the student application. The Senior-level SME has served in an SR position providing support to a combination of these organizations.

 

Candidate will support a Special Operations training program with normal work hours being Monday - Friday, from 8:00am - 5:00pm, however, when a class is in session, employee must support as required or as directed by the customer. Work days then could be seven (7) days per week, except for federal holidays or when the facility is closed. Assess and develop recommendations for current and future SR requirements by conducting mission and SR requirements analysis.

 

Shall write, maintain, and instruct SR/OPSEC training courses based on operational requirements.

 

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • Formal DoD financial training and a graduate of the DoD advanced technician course.
  • Four (4) years of experience in Special Forces and Sensitive Activities Financial Support.
  • Two (2) years of signature reduction related finance support or classified financial activities.
  • Successful candidate must possess two of the following training courses:
    • Advanced Technician Course (ATC) and / or
    • Advanced Planners Course (APC) or
    • Due Diligence Course.
  • Additionally, the candidate must be a graduate of one of the following:
    • Official Signature Reduction Course,
    • Advanced Signature Reduction Course (ASRC),
    • Commercial Signature Reduction Course (OSRC) and / or
    • TRAC-G.
  • Experience providing research and analysis in support to counterintelligence (CI) and CT investigations, to include analysis/review of investigations, exchange of analyses, conduct of data queries and synthesis of large quantities of data to articulate investigative leads, gaps, vulnerabilities and trends.
  • Experience conducting coordination activities, and internal and external analytic exchanges.
  • Experience with Intelligence Community and FBI and other federal law enforcement.
  • Advanced familiarity and experience with DoD SR fundamentals, missions, and functions.
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and community outreach in order to maintain SME and course currency and relevancy.
  • Advanced experience relating to SR acquisition processes.
  • Advanced experience relating to travel support and/or travel risk management.
  • Experience as an SR user preferred.
  • Advanced experience relating to SR planning, development, assessments, and due diligence
  • Management experience relating to SR support.
  • Advanced experience relating to the SR life cycle.
  • Provide executive level briefings.
  • Capable of leading working groups in the consideration of enhancements, innovations, and future course offerings.
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance Required
