Responsibilities

The Signature Reduction (SR) Mentor/Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides learning and performance solutions in all disciplines of SR to include, but not limited to, course development/design, instructional delivery, mentorship, advisory and review requirements, and overall knowledge of SR. Practical experience levels in SR support, application, and/or use must be significant in breadth and depth to bridge the curriculum instruction with the student application. The Senior-level SME has served in an SR position providing support to a combination of these organizations. 

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • Successful candidate must possess two of the following training courses:
    • Advanced Technician Course (ATC) and / or
    • Advanced Planners Course (APC) or the Due Diligence Course.
  • Additionally, the candidate must be a graduate of one of the following:
    • Official Signature Reduction Course,
    • Advanced Signature Reduction Course, Commercial Signature Reduction Course and / or TRAC-G.
  • Minimum 6 years’ practical experience providing direct SR support.
  • Advanced familiarity and experience with DoD SR fundamentals, missions, and functions
  • Instructor training preferred. 
  • Ability to Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and community outreach in order to maintain SME and course currency and relevancy.
  • Advanced experience relating to SR acquisition processes.
  • Advanced experience relating to travel support and/or travel risk management.
  • Experience as an SR user preferred.
  • Advanced experience relating to SR planning, development, assessments, and due diligence.
  • Management experience relating to SR support.
  • Advanced experience relating to the SR life cycle.
  • Provide executive level briefings.
  • Capable of leading working groups in the consideration of enhancements, innovations, and future course offerings
