Responsibilities

 

The candidate should be experienced and capable of proactively maintaining and improving the security posture of the OFDA network. The responsibilities will include;

  • Managing, configuring, and troubleshooting of a Microsoft Exchange 2010 messaging system.
  • Managing, configuring, and troubleshooting of multiple Barracuda or Iron Port (Cisco ESA) email security gateways.
  • Managing, configuring, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Active Directory domain, along with associated services such as group policy.
  • Managing, configuring, and troubleshooting of Microsoft based internal and external DNS.
  • Managing, configuring, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows 2008 & 2012 servers.
  • Providing support for Microsoft Windows file services, with an emphasis on NTFS permissions.
  • Installation and configuration of multiple Microsoft Windows print servers.
  • Providing escalation support to the helpdesk with customer issues.
  • Providing support for mobile device management in an iPhone / MAAS360 environment.
  • Supporting both RSA and Smartcard multifactor authentication.
  • Ensuring systems are compliant with Government security guidelines.
  • Work with other team members to take action on a variety of systems and infrastructure, including servers, workstations, as well as appliance based infrastructure.
  • The candidate should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills directed at an audience with a wide range of technical ability. Experience with the use of monitoring technology such as SolarWinds is a plus.
  • Perform duty officer responsibility once every four to five months for a week, which requires 24/7 availability for customer support.

Qualifications

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience operating a network at the system engineer level.
  • 3+ years of experience directly managing Microsoft Exchange 2010.
  • Active secret level clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Being able to achieve and maintain a secret clearance is required.
