    Responsibilities

    Maintain and update mobile communications infrastructure and services by providing full lifecycle support for Blackberry, iPhone, iPad and Android devices resulting in solutions that are secure, effective, responsive, complete and efficient. 
      
    Mobility Administrator

    • Excellent customer service skills – especially in supporting VIPs;
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
    • The management and maintenance of mobile phones using BES 12 and MaaS360;
    • Handling, provisioning, processing mobile devices as loaners, international travel, and monthly device refreshes;
    • Ensure all mobility tickets are properly updated with correct statuses and documentation.
    • Test new software releases and devices to ensure interoperability with existing systems;
    • Producing, analyzing, and acting monthly usage reports;
    • Maintains technical knowledge in mobile voice, data, and video technologies and systems administration capabilities, and;
    • Provides tier 2/3 support to investigate and resolve problems, inefficiencies, and performance issues which may require shift work or after hours call-in 7/24/365 to meet customer SLAs;
    • Work with vendors to manage support of mobile devices;
    • Work closely with government customer in managing mobile device support for end users;
    • Take direction from and work closely with the Senior Mobility Engineer on learning and supporting more advanced support of mobile messaging infrastructure;
    • Ensures updated SOPs exist for all aspects of mobile device operations.
    • Participates in special projects.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Education/experience: Associates degree with relevant certifications or without degree 5 or more years of experience related to position.

     

    Desired Certifications: 

    • ITIL® Foundation Level Certification

    Required Experience:

    • Mobile Device Management utilizing MaaS360
    • Blackberry Enterprise Server V12
    • Blackberry, iPhone, iPad, Android and Galaxy device provisioning
    • Administration of mobile devices in a large enterprise
