    Job Description:


    The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded systems administrator with strong customer service skills to provide system support on a local area network.


    • Work to identify, triage, and resolve all system and network issues on a local area network.
    • Work within Microsoft Active Directory providing account creation, modification, and support for customers experiencing issues with authentication.
    • Image workstations as needed using automated imaging software, ensuring that master images are kept up to date and patched.
    • Verify that workstations and servers are receiving security updates and patches within Windows as well as McAfee AV.
    • Provide support for wireless networking on mobile devices.
    • Serve as a point of contact for customers who need assistance with access to remote domain services provided by USAID
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to printing from local area network
    • Troubleshoot connectivity issues occurring on local area network.
    • Assist users with application support within Microsoft Office 2013, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
    • Work with vendors on replacing faulty or damaged computer equipment.
    • Manage helpdesk ticketing operations using Service Pro and /or osTicket 
    • Provide reporting on tickets and incidents.
    • Perform other duties required by the Program Manager, and Operations manager.


    Required Skills/Experience: 

    • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in small to medium networks, providing system, printing, and network support
    • Experience with Microsoft Windows 7, Office 2013, Visio, Adobe, and Windows Server 2012, and Active directory
    • Experience with configuring and installing windows operating systems using imaging software
